ESX Server 3 is the core component of VMware Virtual Infrastructure 3 and is generally available. The latest version is ESX 3.5 Update 4. We are eagerly awaiting ESX 4, also known as vSphere sometime in the coming months of H1 2009. As soon as we can, we'll update the guide with our experiences!
